This message is for TOPANNUITY - This is not WIT IPO related. Top, in the discover thread u had mentioned that u had opened an account and stated "I simply requested a DTC transfer of several of my core holdings " Question 1) Now what is a DTC transfer. How do I do it. This is my position. (1) I have around 200 ATHM at 85% margin with another broker who has no internet trading and doesnt give IPOs (2) I have opened a margin account in eTrade. (3) I want to fund my eTrade with margin shares from other brokers. Question 2) Can a DTC be done with a margin account or only with cash account Question 3) Do I call etrade or my old broker who has the securities to initiate this? I know I can open an account and do a transfer but this takes a month I was told in eTrade. How do I do something within 2 Days????
