KZNerd, Re: Also, I don't see anything that Intel can do about the situation between now and January.

I believe there is something Intel can do but what is more important
is that K7 will still be a non-issue until Q1(may be Q2) 2000.
Remembered, even AMD is only expecting some 1M for 1999.

K7Nerd - Re: "A lot has happened in that month:
* June 10: Dirk gives very confident and positive presentation including relative benchmarks showing K7 beating Intel's current best.
* June 17: Intel announces the delay of their future best, Coppermine.
* June 23: AMD announces K7 and projects 10Ks in Q2, 100Ks in Q3, and 1M cum in Q4."

Congratulations !

You have tied SCUMBria for the BIGGEST SUCKER OF THE DECADE.

You have taken everything that AMD has said as the GOSPEL TRUTH.

You have accepted their WORD at face value where they have lied, misrepresented and fallen on their face hundreds of times in the past.

Look at their track record, look at their past promises and predictions, and look at what they predicted.

After reporting a $128.4 million loss in Q199, Sanders said the best thing about Q199 was that it WAS OVER.

Two and a half months later he was back telling you that AMD was going to post a $200 million loss and they were sitting on 2.3 million UNSOLD INVENTORY. Jerry wishes Q2 was as GOOD as Q1 !

You have bought in to a FAILED DREAM - one that has FAILED MANY, MANY TIMES in the past.

You have bought in to a misguided dream that has its foundation based on destroying a competitor - as opposed to creating wealth for its shareholders.

Congratulations, SUCKER. You are one of Jerry's NEW PRIZE PIDGEONs.

Paul
