That's one difference between the video game market and the PC DRAM marketplace.

Paying twice as much for 16MB of memory (2 times almost nothing is still almost nothing) is irrelevant.

Paying twice as much for several hundred MB of RAM is a big deal for both the consumer and the business market sectors. Until RDRAM becomes more competitive with SDRAM, DDR SDRAM and other competitive products, it will be relegated to a niche product.

Yet the stock is priced as if it will capture the lion's share of the DRAM market soon.

IMO, this just isn't going to happen short of some major technology breakthroughs that lower the RDRAM cost.
