Brisket Rub

This came from the local paper that devoted a whole section to BBQ Texas Style, mainly brisket. The rub below sounded the best to me, I haven't tried it yet, but will very soon. I like the spicy variety and this sounds like it fits the bill.

WILD WILLY'S NUMBER ONE-DERFUL RUB

3/4 c paprika
1/4 c ground black pepper
1/4 c salt
1/4 c sugar
2 TBL garlic powder
2 TBL chili powder
2 TBL onion powder
2 Ts cayenne pepper

Combine all the above in a bowl. The night before you BBQ, apply the rub evenly to brisket and put in a plastic bag and refrigerate overnight.
