Ian, and others: The tobacco trial receive national newsplay last night on 6:30pm edition of nbc nightly news......the flavor was that tobacco farmers are awaiting the verdict too, with the prospect of loss of jobs if it comes in against the industry...there were pictures of bored jurors (no Harvard graduates, I'm sorry to say) and of both Rosenblatt and Heinbein??(spelling??), the tob attorney peddling their wares...a very diminuitive picture, given the enormous implications of the ultimate decision as the news report went on to say...all in all, I would say the report was slightly biased toward the tob cos..

Yes, I know that. But would it be viewed as net positive or negative by street. Victory of semi-vindication or defeat of potential continued death by litigation?
