This was my first July 4th Web video experience (at 56-KB). Although interesting, I couldn't help but contrast the quality of content/service between the new Internet and traditional cable/TV products.

In every category important to me, the Internet video product is extremely inferior:

1. The picture size is way too small.
2. The picture quality is very poor.
3. The sound quality is poor.
4. The "congestion" delays are extremely annoying.

Essentially, I can understand why most Internet video providers are pushing narrow-casting and original content, since these are the only legs upon which they can presently stand! Even upon this carefully selected ground, I still maintain that the four items enumerated above remain critical and currently out of reach.

Given this narrow ground, I wonder if meaningful revenue can be generated? Without large revenue, how can a business create interesting original content, quality programming that would attract an audience? I would like to see a clear business case....

I guess this is why AXC remains a $4 stock today.

Regards,
Trenton.
