James......There is absolutely no good reason for DeBeers to take average size small carat diamonds out of the ground of Canada, NWT. DeBeers, the experts in supply and demand, have more to gain keeping those diamonds in the ground than to take them out, the last thing they want on the market is a flood of cheap Canadian diamonds. On the other hand if someone can come up with some high grade, gem quality, large carat >5 diamonds then you will see DeBeers move into action. Supply and demand rule with DeBeers.
