This is your statement, correct "DeBeers, the experts in supply and demand, have more to gain keeping those diamonds in the ground than to take them out, the last thing they want on the market is a flood of cheap Canadian diamonds." 1) Your implying that the diamonds are cheap, you and I cannot determine this and 2) If Debeers (the controllers of S&D) decides to take them out, they control those diamonds therefore your "flooding the market" is totally irrelevant.
If DB's is unhappy they will drop the JV, if the diamonds are of satisfactory quality, DB will want control, bypassing the agreement of development and taking full control. HOW? Lets wait and see.
Lets not make erroneous statements especially the one YOU came out with a while back, remember, this close chuck this close, be careful.
