Claude,
The famous deposits you mention are in the Canadian Shield....they have been metamorphosed and are coarse crystalline.....this makes for overall good metallurgy(clean concentrates and high recoveries)....by the way....all in, after metallurgical evaluation, underground VMS deposits must have the equivelent of at least 8% copper equivelent, and at least 10 million tonnes or they won't make it(exceptions being some satelite deposits to existing large deposit and associated infrastructure)....the big problem with the young VMS deposits in Central and South America is that they are fine grained which makes for poor metallurgy.......and finally, if this was so sh*t hot, why would a big outfit like BGRM walk? Another example is the VMS belt being explored by FAN-T in Mexico.....many majors walked from the belt after exhaustive metallurgical studies......if so much archived core etc. is available, perhaps MAN should get some preliminary metalurgy done before drilling and promoting eh? Alternately, if they have some of this kind of data from old BGRM reports etc., how about disclosing it to the public, or is this just another sofisticated and slick TSE style pump and dump?
good luck with this one....
regards,
teevee
