Toby, pardon me for intruding but in case Bryan doesn't get to this, I got bit myself today looking up cooking threads.

When you put the word "lawsuit" in the search box, you need to select "StockTalk" from the pulldown menu. The default is "Quotes" which makes it think that lawsuit is a symbol.

Stocktalk to me wasn't immediately obvious as a thread search. I just don't use the word stocktalk when discussing SI. But I couldn't think of anything better either.

Toby:

Okay, I think I see the problem, and also how we can make it more clear.

When you use the search box at the bottom of the page, there is a pull down menu next to site, where you can select which area you want to search, i.e. quotes, news, StockTalk, etc.

We set the default to Quote, but if you select StockTalk from the drop down, it will do the kind of search that you want to do. Looking at this again, I can see why it's a bit confusing. I have a couple ideas for making it more clear. Let me try them out on the developers here and see what we can come up with.

However, the same functionality is there that you know and love from the old SI. We just have to make it a little more intuitive from a user interface perspective.

Thanks for following up on this one.
