Thanks Datek for the price improvement today! I had a limit buy on FM at $28. It filled for $27 3/4. On 1,000 shares, that's like getting 25 free trades with Datek. This isn't my first price improvement, but the best so far. On other smaller price improvements, I got them on limit orders placed hours or days before the fill. In this case, the order filled within a few minutes of entering it, so I suppose it could have been partly due to lucky timing, as the stock was dropping as I placed my order. Still, whatever you chalk it up to: rapid order entry and/or instant executions, I'm happy that Datek can really work in my favor.
