Exactly what country would that be?

My point exactly.

But in Richard's mind it wouldn't one like the US, where US soldiers deliberately murder young children in cold blood, as he asserts.

These guys, as I recall the story, were assigned to a counter-narcotics reconaissance patrol/observation post. They were well armed because most of the drug runners coming across the Mexican-US border are far better armed than civilian law enforcement agencies.

Their mission is to observe and report, and not to engage unless fired upon. Now for them to deliberately choose to shoot this young kid was either the result of their believing his target shooting/hunting was a deliberate attack upon them, or a danger to their lives.

But for Richard to come straight out and accuse these Marines of cold blooded murder is equivalent to claiming that people in the military aren't interested in protected the rights and safety of US citizens. It's essentially claiming that military troops are intentionally killing US citizens for sport or pleasure.

And HJ... I kinda resent that, and I'm sure every serviceman who ever put on a uniform in this country's service resents it also.

So if Richard thinks the US military is no better than some form of Waffen SS force subjugated to the goal of a new world order, I think it behooves him to seek a nation elsewhere that is more free.

I didn't spend 14 years of service, active and reserve, to be spit upon by irresponsible ramblings by individuals of his kind.

Excuse me for being a bit sensitive on the issue. But folks in the military do some very thankless jobs and take great risks in the service of our country. Richard's comments must be taken to task and exposed for the BS that they are.

Regards,

Ron
