Bryan, RE: My point is that, for the average Joe who doesn't understand market timing and relies on the info from analysts to make buy/sell decisions, it's already too late by the time that those predictions are published -- the window of opportunity has passed.

You infer a much greater skill on the part of the analysts in general than I. I don't believe that the window of opportunity WRT analysts ever exists.
