Greg,

Zacks already got FY2001 down to $.95 but growth rate is at 27. Neither are really meaningful at this time. If WIND cannot beat these numbers for FY 2001 or if it is only going to grow at an average of 27% for the next 5 years, we should all sell and don't waste any more time here.

On the more optimistic side, the market is giving WIND a huge upside at current levels, if the new CEO can get the company heading in the right direction.

WIND First Call estimates have been revised downward again. FY2000 estimate has dropped to 0.72 from 0.73. FY2001 estimate of 1.00 and FY2002 estimate of 1.25 have disappeared. WIND's consensus 5-year growth rate has now fallen further to 25%.

That's interesting, because First Call consensus recommendation increased from 1.5 to 1.
I received this notification from Schwab this morning:

Wind River Systems (WIND) - First Call Consensus
Recommendation changes by % in last 24 hours. Consensus
Upgraded from 1.50000 to 1.00000
(where 1 = Strong Buy; 3 = Hold; 5 = Sell.)
