In answer to your question of what LC knew and whens he knew it, I think the smoking gun is the ³resignation² in October of 1998, just about 8 weeks before the FDA rejected provir, of Dr. Athul Khwandwala (I am sure I have misspelled this) who was Sr. VP at SHMN for Regulatory Filings. Nobody resigns just before his long-worked on, soon-to-be successful baby gets borne, unlss something is amiss. My giess is that LC and mgt. knoew the bad news at least several months before it was made public. I always thought it was incredible how within days of saying provir was rejected, they put forth the new shmn ethnobotanicals venture and announced that they were exising the phamaceuticals business. Things like this take a LOT more planning and research than days!
