the goalies are not as perfect as for the men

Brazil has a history of having goalies who don't even come close to the talents of their other players. I don't know why that is, but a guy like Tafarel being the national team goalie for 3 World Cups goes to show you.....Same in the Brazilian Women Team. The goal was a horrendous mistake/gift by the goalie. I bet you Scurry is better than Tafarel even!

> The crashing header was a feat worthy of praise even if it were in the men's game.

Crashing header? Come on, even my grandma would head this one in. But give lots of credit to Parlow for sticking around the goalie and being in the position to pay them for their mistakes, a sign of a great team.

> This goal was all-important to the game as it took away realistic hope for Brazil, whereas otherwise they were more likely to tie the score.

It was a matter of time before Scurry would have cracked, the pressure was relentless. The penalty was a gift by the referee and the game was practically over at that point.

> I heard today the Brazil team is complaining about that call and roughness: They should just stick with the penalty kick, for which they have a case.

I agree. What roughness?
