pc, you are right, so far, about the callousness of the market toward mu. losses expected to be $60 million instead of profits of $60 million. the difference in stock price? less than 5%.

AMD's a bad example, though. They have pre-announced disasters so many times that we might as well just assume they're gonna do much worse than expected, then they can save some time and effort by pre-announcing only if they *aren't* going to have a disaster. :-)
