DD : Yes, indeed. I agree the situation is very fluid with many possibilities. Still, it's hard to argue with the price trend, particularly in the absence of any real consolidation. Those who try will doubtless come unstuck as they have done in all the various phases of the bear market since 1996.

I have no knowledge of conspiracies. Therefore I do not support such theories. The arguments which I have heard on the subject do not convince me either. The little knowledge I have derives from my own analyses and observations. These seem to indicate that the $250-260 area could be supported. But, I am not prescient or clairvoyant. There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of tonnes of gold overhanging the market so anything could happen.
