For the three-month period ended May 31, 1999, cash flow from
operations was $(251,480) (1998: $(7,686)). The company recorded a
net loss for the period of $188,976 (1998: $86,065 loss) on gross
revenue of $210,183 (1998: $87,907). May sales surpassed $100,000,
the highest monthly total in the company's history. Amortization of
certain market and product development costs combined with higher
selling and administrative costs contributed to the deficit. At the end of
the period, the company had a working capital deficit of $883,360
(1998: $219,548 deficit), which includes loans payable of $915,375
(1998: $6,500). The company had long-term debt of $129,162 (1998:
$98,952).
