Michael and board, Possible reasons for Sony announcement as I see it.
1. Siemans buys hand set division.
2. Siemans and Qcom enter into jv for hand set division replacing Sony.
3. Qcom wanted extra capacity to meet its demand and had option to force Sony out of hand set jv.
4. Poor demand for phones. (Not likely to me)
Any comments on what you think is most probable. Do you have another option.
