Pale blue wispy is beautiful, too.

Funny, I grew up in a house where people made stained glass (my mother, and her long-time boyfriend) - but haven't a piece of finished stained glass to my name. Nor does my mother. She used to be very good. I was hoping that she'd get a place big enough for a studio, and do it again.

All I have is one cobalt blue rondel from Blenko Glass in West Virginia. And I got inspired by the large window over the entryway in "my" new house - rather than putting a curtain, why not a large stained glass window? Contemporary style, I have been designing it in my mind, a large circle in a square, translucent green and white, maybe.

It says the factory is in Woodinville, WA. That would be fun to go look-see.

Something about making glass is awesome.

Probably the awesomeness of it.

And since they haven't any trees left, they should maybe change the town name to Glassinville.
