SI Policy on Third Party Info.

REB: SI Administration has no policy requiring its staff to inform
SI members before or after member's personal information has
been turned over to a third party.

Some excerpts from the correspondence from SI's legal
department.

SI makes an effort to inform its members when identifying
information about them is requested in a subpoena. Due to time
constraints, however, SI does not always have the time to inform
its members of such subpoenas. For example, many times a
subpoena will be received by SI from the government or a
private party which has a very limited response time…..

…..SI responds to dozens of subpoenas each week. We will
conduct a search for the information you request but please be
patient as it will require someone in our department spending
several hours combing through the subpoena files.

If you would like to know if your personal information has been
provided to a third party, contact legal@go2net.com and use your
SI alias for reference.

Regards,
LG
