>>Giuliani is a strong candidate despite his personal quirks

Giuliani vastly improved NYC, Bill and Hill degraded the office and in the process, the nation. Hillary has no positive achievements of her own and has failed at her major endeavors, most notably her health care debacle - which Moynihan opposed as bad for NY.

>>Hillary is doing no one a favor with this race

Hillary will burn major amounts of Dem $$$ in her losing bid - that's a plus.

Amazing is that Moynihan endorsed her considering the he gained his seat in 1976 against the vastly superior Senator James Buckley by campaigning on the "carpetbagger" issue. Buckley was from the prominent Connecticut family but had an apartment of long-standing in NYC. So the issue was arguably phony for Moynihan whereas it is starkly genuine against Hillary who is merely parachuting in.

But then again not so amazing, when didn't Moynihan disappoint?
