Hi X,

>>>Do you use level 2 at all to time an entry or go basically from a TA side?

No, I don't. I use my tape-reading. I also look at 50 & 200 dma, and recently 25 & 100 dma.

>>>>One other question, regarding the Thomson's Institutional site.

Harry is the one using that site. I don't.

In general, stocks can trade down on +ve MF if the "general consensus" regarding that stock or sometimes the market is negative.

X,

It is not accurate in my opinion. If you look at the total volume for the day it was 1.345 million shares. According to the site that amount of volume was offered for purchase in one single 20 minute period in the afternoon alone. It is not possible to absorb the type of volume shown on the site give the total trading volume for the day. It is important to do a reality check on all data sources. For that site I usually do a quick count of the over all volume and compare it to the end of day volume of another site. I still get junk data on some of my other data feeds for time to time too. I think Jim mentioned that some data feeds were messed up during the day.
