Interesting post, do you think the order is for more than just Y2K? Has anyone heard how well the 10 cell stack is working? Are they bidding on the Mexico offshore project I was just reading about?

For all our sakes I hope your right

:)

Chip

Hmmmmm...very interesting...

Many of the things you "think" are going to happen are amazingly similar to rumors I've been hearing (i.e., much bigger Delphi contracts than the first one, BMW prototype (wasn't that originally due out somewhat earlier?), stock split, etc.) and so far my sources have been pretty reliable.

I personally don't mind the lack of news or the "stagnant" share price. In fact, I find it extremely positive that the share price is holding at these "elevated" levels (compared to a few months ago) in the absence of news. Normally one would expect the stock to drift off given the apparent lack of developments, but it's holding very nicely. With the base it's developing now, it should move very nicely when developments do occur. Just my humble opinions.

Cheers,
JP

There is absolutely NO WAY this is the same as that little scam. In fact Global Thermoelectric should be used as a textbook example of how NOT TO CHEAT. They wouldn't have gotten any work in the U.S. if they were cheaters, I've been hanging out at the big lake too long. The time frame may be a while yet, but this stock thing is just like fishing, first the minnows stop nibbling then you hook the big one.

You are right do your own due diligence and read the fine print on every prospectus. I would suggest your friends watch the movie ANT-Z (moral of the story) THINK FOR YOURSELF. Honestly all Albertans should walk tall, I would have to say my coastal hometown deserves the swindle of the century award with bay team getting runner-up.

Hang tough we won't see it go back to a buck a share unless it's a dividend. Compared to other profit making peers their value should be 15 times higher. Delphi has a corporate policy of customer confidentiality and proprietary rights protection. Remind yourself that when the BMW announcement happened Global Thermoelectric was in the same place as Delphi at the Logistics Data Symposium in Troy Michigan U.S.A.

...Stockholm auto show on September 6th...

I think the big auto held around that time is the Frankfurt auto show, which is THE auto show in Europe, every two years (again in 1999)it is a huge event.

Speaking of auto shows, there was a Toyota Prius that was on display, rather anonymously, at the local auto show this year. I heard of it before and had read about its interesting technologies, but nobody was around to really answer any questions or show & tell its components. The Toyota Prius is really a hybrid electric car with regenerative braking, an internal combustion engine provides electrical power as needed. IMHO a fuel cell could really fit into this application. More info on the Toyota Prius at this site:
