Thanks Hawaii, but I disagree on it being a set-up. I don't believe in conspiracies, and I don't believe in TA; we all have our own styles. I am hyperallergic to shenanigans; even it if turns out that these worries are totally baseless, and the stock shoots up, it is in my opinion STILL the prudent thing to preserve capital at the risk of losing out on big gains. (though, as I said, I'm keeping some December calls, just in case). I'm not complaining with the gains I have, and I'm wishing everyone the best. May it go to the moon, and all the rumors turn out to be baseless.

H: Is Greenberg that naive that he gets sucked into these little short shenanigans?? After all the article states that they called several numbers and got different lawyers...two receptionists claim the guy doesn't exist and one says he's out now..it sounds like Greenberg, while perhaps snookered by the shorts, at least did a little dd which did raise a few eyebrows, with assorted phone calls to assorted lawyers..

Also, Howie Balter was NEVER on ANY articles of corporation in ANY capacity with anything to do with the Lermer companies. That would be an outright lie or fabrication if anyone says otherwise. If D&B reported it, then their computors made an error. Many times credit companies will match information such as corporations addresses etc and they may have assumed that because Mr. Lermer has an office in Jonas publishing that the entities shared the same corporate officers. Mr. Greenberg knew this was not the case but chose to report it anyway (for some reason).

<<"The president, D&B said, was Howard Bolter. Could they have meant Howard Balter (with an "a" instead of an "o"), who until recently was chief operating officer>>

I like how the The Street article presented this tidbit. The words were carefully chosen to prevent a liable suit against them. The company has denied that NTOP's Balter had worked for Lermer (according to post on Yahoo per IR) and even Balter denied it. But they decided to mention it in the article anyway, but said in such a way that they are off the hook - OOPS we had the wrong person I guess it really was Bolter.
