Notice the chutzpah in the name of the service.

Indeed. Unfortunately, it's not the only example of chutzpah in the service.

After they discovered that users were pulling far more IP addresses than expected, USWest.net (the non-regulated ISP that's one of several providing service on their lines) started switching people to a different configuration on the Cisco "modems". But the new configuration causes significant problems for game players and video conferencers. The response from their help desk was simply, "that's a networking issue that we don't support." Those who know how to find the ISP's newsgroup can find help from other users (including at least two web pages filled with all the nasty details), but it's clearly an issue causing frustration for many users, and something for which they still provide no official support.

<It runs at 256 kilobits per second. And yet, they call it MegaBit 256. I tell ya...>

It will fool most people. US West must be full of people who think this way. Next management project is to drop the badly tarnished US West name soon, they have worldly places to go and other names to ruin in the future.
