here's the Yahoo post i mentioned in msg #35

This has been a great stock. The current action is probably a short squeeze. There's a lot of interest in the DSL area and that's contributing to the rise too. On a valuation basis, it's a tough call given that next years expected eps is about $.40. If you want a cheaper play, take a look at Brooktrout (BRKT). They have just filed an IPO for their DSL subsidiary which is called Interspeed. The Interspeed product apparently integrates the DSL box with a switch and a router. Apparently, they've recently sold product to several CMTN customers who have gotten rid of the CMTN product. There must be some inherent advantage to having the products integrated vs. CMTN. In any event, BRKT has a market cap of about $180 million. The Interspeed IPO could easily have a valuation of twice that.

CopperMountain [CMTN] beats consensus estimates by 800%, revenues surge 1,560%.

Consensus estimates were for $0.01, ranging from breakeven to $0.04, from 4 brokers. Actual results were $0.09.

2ndQ revenues were $21.6 million compared to $1.3 million last year, and $13.2 million just the previous quarter.

"We are pleased with the financial results Copper Mountain reported for our first quarter as a public company," said Copper Mountain Networks, Inc.
