CHKP is covered by the analysts from more than 17 financial firms. Up- or down-grading of this stock may be seen every month. For those no-reason or no-sense up/downgradings, I used to take them as the opportunities to modify my holdings. A no-reason-downgrading or a no-sense-downgrading for a stock almost always means to me a buy opportunity. Otherwise, a sell opportunity. If you want to keep a position in net security sector, CHKP, as the leading player, is a must-have. Checkpoint already told the Street that its business did better than expected. So it won't make us a surprise to beat the $0.50 average estimates. CHKP has an excellent earning+ history. I am expecting $0.53/sh for last quarter. Technically speaking, CHKP may go higher in the summer. Sales of computer and networking equipment did very well in last quarter as we heard so far, so should net security. Good luck!
