Hal --

When we drove down to Austin a couple of weeks ago (where I caught this ailment)....
the beans in the fields all the way down were as good looking a crop as I've seen at this time of the year ... usually a 30 inch plant on July 4 will give a good yield ...

those dude had spread so far that a 30 incher would give a bumper crop and a lot were already 36 inches then ...

I did put in a call to short some beans while I was in Austin based on just the observation of the fields ....
closed them out since then at a fair profit ...
so beans is still easier than spoos ....... gggggg
