Benny Baga, re:"I don't think billers are going to re-write..."

Hi Benny,

Thanx for your response.

Here is the basis for my comments.

My biller, like Visa, allows me to change my address. I would also think that they would allow me to change the name on my account. It is not uncommon... think about marriage. So, I think the name and address change is possible.

Also, I get the following bills- long distance phone, short distance phone, credit card, water and electric, gas, cable and and auto insurance. All of them are typed, and appear to be processed by a massive automated system.

Your comment, "CheckFree has a patent on that one" in regards to consolidated payment does not make sense to me... possibly we are miscommmunicating, as the accounting departments in the companies I worked for did just that... all the employee's bills they would get from one vendor got one payment.. standard practice. Can you provide more detail on the CheckFree patent you mention?

Just my ongoing opinion.

Jon :)
