FGI recently had a huge short position -- a much bigger percent of the float than any other OS stock. This despite excellent reported earnings. A warning that something was amiss.

George and K:

Another point re the FGI shorts .... they were short when I bought in around $10 some months ago, so that they are treading water or even going under so far.

This short position leaves me stumped. I have to wonder whether there is not some other reason for the short than that of simply buying back the FGI at a lower price. Damned if I can figure out what it might be.

Any suggestions?

The article wasn't deceptive-it was just lazy reporting, getting a lot of it on TSC lately.eom
