Re: DRG.X and MRK Going back to the monthlies again, July has not been a good month for this sector. In fact, DRG.X has gone sideways in the summers of 97, 98, and as you know, taken it on the chin this time.(since the rotation into cyclicals that began ~March). It does usually get a small bounce in August but that is historically the worst month to be in the market(info once again via Berney). If it was me Dude, I wouldn't play. FWIW I transferred all my Fido Health Sector fund into Utilities today. Re: AEP on the other hand, your radar sure looks like its found another bottom candidate to me. Heck if this east coast heatwave could help and the price of oil isn't a factor...:-) Re: SOX.X Your INTC remarks are certainly encouraging. I don't know why I'm so concerned, what with 3 whole days till earnings and me with July calls. (^_^) Maybe we'll get a clue from VTSS on Monday. My lovely bride is in SF at Semicon this week. Will let you know the scuttlebut on AMAT etc. Hearty congrats on your results so far this year.
