Clinton was impeached. Only the basest form of partisan politics allowed him to remain in office. What exactly has he admitted to? An "improper relationship?" How about his obvious perjury and obstruction of justice? Nope. He blamed his personal failings on Ken Starr and the Republican Congress. The Congress is even now investigating the misuse of the IRS by the Bubba maladministration relative to its political enemies. Another scandal in the making? JLA

Resigning from the office of president is one of the most graphic admissions of guilt you could ever expect from another person. Clinton should have done the same. TD
