<How well-informed are they?>

Glaringly uninformed. This was made even more obvious at the last conference call, when none of the analysts took the opportunity to ask leading questions (the few questions that were asked were about the standard topics - I2O, windows CE, that have been beaten about so may times). There were so many questions that we were asking ourselves in this board that could have been raised.

H&Q seems to be launching a negative campaign against Wind, surprising given that H&Q was very much involved in the financing of the convertible bond two years ago. Perhaps this campaign is being funded by some of Wind's rich "enemies" or potential suitors. It is very disturbing that these uninformed or unprincipled analysts seem to exert so much power on the market.

It is doubtful that Jerry Fiddler would make this quick and definitive a response if there was a grain of truth about H&Q's statement.

That should be WIND upset H&Q. The fact that the others are not following (hoping they don't)shows that WIND mgmt must be doing something to keep them happy

Joe,

I think there are only 3 analysts covering WIND right now so it really should not take much to wine and dine them.
