EG,

I know what you mean, this is so exasperating!
Let's draw an analogy.
Drug companies invent a new drug, spend millions on R&D.....
why shouldn't the "recipe formulae" be given to all of their competitors "for the good of the people" so that prices can be driven down. The answer is that the drug companies have exclusive rights for seven years to manufacture the drug and develop the marketplace. Then, and only then, is the market open for competition.

Competition for cable BB is wireless and DSL.......let the market determine which is the best choice. After say seven years, five years, whatever, then allow others to access the network for a nominal fee.

I really wonder if the government officials understand ALL the issues!

On the positive side, I think Kennard may now have to come to the forefront and state that the FCC wants cable access closed to ISPs so that the infrastructure can be built as he stated BEFORE the T/TCI merge!

Very surprised that we're maintaining 53$ despite the bombs that have dropped on us in the last 6 wks.

The pendulum WILL come back our way! It CAN'T get worse than this!!!

I'd like to see Markeys portfolio!!!! Kinda have to wonder if there's any AOL in there!

Kevin

my god, I saw that interview on CNBC and I cannot believe that jackass...."Open, the issue here is Open...." Mass residents should be ashamed of themselves to have this jackass representing them.
