Mel--I most likely had them confused. Sorry. There was just no choice given of not splitting, so I threw one in. I have no special knowledge.

I believe it was in April that the CFO indicated a split was possible. If you remember the market tanked in late April/Early May. If the market had held up, as well as Costco, I am sure they would have announced a split if the stock was 90 plus around earnings in May.

This time the market will hold up, Costco will be in the ninities and we will see the split after earnings in August.

I got out in May at 81 1/4 to lock in a profit and came back in at 71 1/8 a short time later. The timing was total luck.

I am here to stay at least to the split.
