MikeM, I suppose that's the danger of non-real time internet discussions. I was NOT saying that AT&T's cable access should be GIVEN to other ISPs--never did believe in the concept of a free lunch. Each should bear their pro rata share of the cost, ie, T should be appropriately compensated. How that would be calculated is well beyond me, but let me stress that appropriation w/o pay is not my idea of fair: it is more akin to robbery. Clear? best, mike doyle
