I would still like to know how PMB.com intends to pay bills to billers not equiped to handle electronic payments. CKFR has been processing payments since 1987 and has built extensive relationships with billers large and small across the nation, but can still only process 50% of bills electronically. What if I have my gardener and dog sitter send their bills to PMB.com. Bill gets scanned, presented to me through email. How does it get paid?

One final point, email is currently not a secure transmission. I don't want my credit card bill or even phone bill going over the net without encryption.

Personally, I just do not see any role for PayMyBills.com. They are missing the point that the value of the net is about increasing efficiency. They are just adding two more steps in the bill paying process.
