No, I'm not a buy and hold..mostly swing trader. And FORE was trading at low twenties before it's drop (shake, shake, shake) in the space of a few days. Well the MMs got their shares cheap alright...three years ago I personally lost $37K on FORE so no matter how attractive it "looked", I still couldn't bring myself to buy it because I had been burned in the past (my training whells were brand new then)...I suspect you might feel the same way about NITE having prevented you from using your cash productively...and I understand.

I've made tons of mistakes too...but NITE, I think, will help pay for a few years of green fees by next week!

I haven't posted for a few days.... or been watching the action. However, checking today it looks like the institutions were still unloading ...

This pattern has been going on for a while ..... and it made me close out my long a few days ago. If not for such a positive overall market and the retail investor buying, this stock could be at 50 right now imho.

That doesn't mean there won't be an earnings run, but the 'big' money is leaving the stock at a rate on knots ... and that is a major warning sign to me.

JMHO ..... & have a great weekend everyone

Stephen

I bought FORE a few months after its IPO. In its first year, FORE flow to 80 and split 2 for 1. Then went to about 65 and then slowly dove into oblivion. This was due to a huge sector rotation. At the time, the buzzword was Networks and how ATM was going to transform the industry; however, due to the fact that ATM was 3x as expensive although 6x as fast and a new technology, FORE met with unbelievable competition. Last October, FORE slid to 8 bucks and I bought it again at 10 knowing it was a steal.

Sir Francis before postulating on what happened to FORE, it would be easier to just ask someone on this board about FORE. FORE is still a great company and it was fortunate that it got bought out by a company with DEEP pockets.
