"I'm worried."

the value line investment service downgraded dell's timeliness rank from a 1 (highest) to a 2 on a scale of 1 to 5.

Moose, I have an answer for you. If Dell is only worth $31.50 to you, sell me your shares at a premium of $32, OK.

<<<I'm worried. Can anyone make me feel better about the $42 price tag? >>>
Well if you have 20k shares Dell then you have made more in 5 weeks than Mr Clinton's salary for a whole year. And the party hasn't even started yet.SES

Moose your concerns are indeed valid and I have to say that although I am relieved to see the stock advance significantly this past week,it was in my opinion done on the heels of Compaq and Hewlett-Packard. Computer companies are in a price war but the strong will survive and I am somewhat in a bias to see that Dell has the muscle and resources to beat the competition. They offer a great product, good service and are ready to meet the challenges. I am not naieve enough just to sit back and shout the rah rah rah crap. I want to see some better public relations between Dell and the Press and I also want to see a more dynamic representation of Michael and his vision for the future. Dell needs to get the repect like IBM has. In the end the only thing the matters is show us the money.

OT:Now I am going to get back to my Sara Brightman Album and I have to get a money order to pay my fuc***g parking ticket I got while in Las Vegas which I recently discovered. I should send them a role of toilet paper and tell them to stick up their you know what for their arrogance and unprofessional high power crime tactics. I guess I am just a nice guy.

Have a good weekend
Frank

RE: My concern: 50% of all households have PC's. That's dead-center in the S-curve which means PC growth is SLOW from here on out.

What effect will broadband have?

Won't broadband result in the need to upgrade to more powerful PC's in order to take advantage of the more sophisticated and complex content that BB can bring?
