Money is size. The green gets gets the worm eventually. Might I remind you that AMZN has yet to turn a profit?? Perhaps if USAB's stock can get manipulated high enough that they can do secondaries over and over again as they fight the big boys with big checkbooks, they will make a go of it. It could happen. But companies like Citicorp, Wells Fargo, etc.. have underwriters beating down their door to do secondary offerings at any time. I wonder if USAB has that same luxury. I hope I'm wrong, because I'm not short, and you are long. I'd love it if you made enough to retire on USAB. I don't just buy into that "dynamics" thing management is pitching. The feild is leveled as soon as the others come on-line. The problem is, you have to get the client on-line, and then you have to keep them. The big banks can offer higher interest rates, lower fees, etc... to lure the client to them. It's always the money, Velo. Imagine if you were looking to open an on-line banking account and you started shopping around. You come across USAB who is offering their clients 3.2% interest on savings accounts, and then you check out Citicorp, and they are offering 5% introductory 1 year savings account interest. Where ya gonna go?? It's gonna be ugly for the whole industry really. But the big boys are gonna be there shaking those dollar bills in front of the consumer's face, and USAB won't be able to do that. That's what I'm talking about.
