JohnD, can you explain in some detail your optimism regarding Microsoft's earnings growth in the next few years? PC's are now finally really cheap, Asia is recovering, and NT sales have been strong, but old sources of growth do have to tail off at some point. Then there are the new products--do you think users will buy them?

Another question: if the IBES estimates of Microsoft earnings growth are right--25% over the next 5 years--is that enough to justify the current stock price? Or to put it another way, if Microsoft EPS growth in 1999 exceeds 50%, and in 2000 exceeds 14%, can we expect stock price to rise?
