Neocon, sounds like you had a very fun as well as informative trip. I also am an art history buff and seeing all the paintings of these artists alone would have made the trip for me. My husband and I are both amateur artists, although we have very different styles, we can appreciate each others work. A very pleasant hobby to share. I was also disappointed when I saw the IMAX Amazon Rain Forest. I don't know what I expected, but that wasn't it. It's great that you were able to have such a nice vacation with your family. Some of my best memories are of family vacations growing up.
