Jim, I think Mr. griffiths is a new director, giving great credibilty to the setup, also someone did a 1 million cross for $1.5 a few weeks ago, again showing great investor confidence.
The hotel speed is 100 meagbyte to the server then a true T1 service to the ISP , so it is the same +/- as ADSL which in practice is a page refresh with the blink of an eye. Now the $$$$ comparison is if you dialled up to your home ISP you would get charged by the minute, whether it was LD or not as hotels are PPU.
The home page you get when you log on is fantastic, it is a virtual major domo- check it out.
If you wish to put it on the list I would say monday 19th july for news. This is the home page for the Richmond Hilton. MDTV wired the whole building with fiber for LAN/internet/sat TV. They are also a 3Com partner. The deal is they will come to your hotel/townhouse/apartment complex and wire the place up for FREE, then charge each unit less money than cable for a gazzillion cahnnels, and they don't need a minimum # of subs/block as they know its a no-brainer ( I can just see Mr Rogers crying in his martini) . IMO they will be bought out eventally by a telco or cable co. Oh yeah they have NO competition as you need a licence from Starchoice TV. LOL

Hi Jim,
I'd like to answer your question regarding Arthur Griffiths. He is the Chair of the Advisory Board for MDU Communications. He is also an early shareholder of the company. He has extensive contacts within the communications industry, specifically broadcasting, through his family's past ownership of WIC Communications (now owned by Shaw Communications.

Cheers,

Paul
