Hi Keith, NERXP is the symbol for the Preferred stock. Even the name "Preferred" is a bit ambiguous! I'd prefer not to own any of the company's equity, but am attempting to keep with a "potential" until the last chapter is written.

Their Preferred stock pays semi-annually. I don't let any dust settle on their checks! At the $15 I paid for the shares, the rate of return is about 16.2%. Since the common is in the doghouse, so's the preferred. I've found this true many times before with other equities. If the common falls out of favor, wait about a month or two and then look at the Convertible Preferreds or the Convertible Subordinated Debentures. I've been able to buy very attractive yields along with these other forms of equity and help to cover the "time value" issue with waiting for the common stock to recover. I periodically review the S&P Bond book for such possibilities.

Best regards, Tom
