Oh, I agree that she's fairly ambitious in her own right. Personally, I don't care for her, and I think this New York race is ill-advised. What I had objected to is the mind-reading of the previous poster; anyone who says that they understand the dynamics of the Clinton marriage should be immediately hired to replace Dr. Laura on the radio. As for exploiting connections, that's something that's as common for human beings as breathing. GWB probably did it during the Vietnam era, a friend of mine did it to get a job recently, I hear it everyday from ordinary people and no moral indignation is generally attached to the report. If my wife were elected Governor of New York, I am sure that my business would benefit, and I hardly think anyone could reasonably suggest that I ought to move to another state on the odd chance that I might have political ambitions of my own one day, and would be accused of trading on connections. Benefiting from the success of well-placed friends and relatives is a commonplace, not a crime, and perhaps not even a foible. Maybe George W. Bush should have changed his name to Edgar L. Smith long ago (and denied any relation to the Bush family and any contact with his father's business associates and friends) to avoid any hint of coattail-riding or exploitation of his family name and connections. I think you're asking too much of Hillary because you simply don't like her.

I think most people on this thread know just how much I do not like HRC but, I do not agree that she has a mental problem. IMO, she is a calculating, conniving, deceitful, manipulative person who has her goals set and will let no one get in her way as long as she has the means to destroy them. She may have hung around the wrong people too long and her means of retaliation are dissipating. TD
