OT Most times I find a dead space when I answer and before the computer kicks it over to a live operator. If I don't get an immediate response when I answer the phone I hang up.....also you can write to the following address to stop phone calls. Majority of companies honor the requests as they don't want to increase dead cold calls. Telephone Preference Service Direct Marketing Association PO Box 9014 Farmingdale, N.Y. 11735-9014 In body of letter write Please stop phone solicitation. After a few weeks your phone calls will drop sharply... Hey you want the junk mail to stop.......... Mail Preference Service PO Box 9008 Farmingdale NY 11735-9008 ...again in the body of the letter Please stop all junk mail. If you like to get a lot of mail then don't do this<g> good luck folks I have been using these addresses for years and it works.....John
