< Martial Law will be declared... I hope you will be ready for that too >

Yes, we are. I'm well aware of the fact that Life is a Jungle and as Darwin would put it, " Survival of the Fittest." We have prepared for that scenario too, which is coming.
Money talks in the realm of Finance and Life Style. I know what talks
in the "Y2K Impact on Stock Market and Society." My family is well prepared to protect and defend for our survival. That has been part of the preparation here. What have you done to protect and defend your family's survival? Do You plan on becoming a scavenger?

tcd- unfair to slam rarebird! After all, he is being VERY responsible on several counts:

1. He is one of the miniscule minority that is adequately preparing for his family's survival, by adequate, apparently, stocking of food, and proper food.
.
Compare that to you and the other 99% of the population that are willing to tempt fate and subject the family to potential death by starvation/thirst, for starters!

The first responsibility of a man is to protect his family- he is doing that- you and the minions aren't!

Anyone who is not ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN, after studying all available data, that food and water supply will remain adequate for weeks and months into the future, is intentionally and willfully potentially putting his family, and himself in harm's way!

2. He is being responsible per the obvious fact of lessening the hoards that will be later be crashing the grocery stores by about 6!

If everyone was that responsible, the potential of severe food rationing would be enormously lessened!

BTW, I have seen two stories, that are about as confirmed as stories can be without total confirmation, that the feds/military have been printing RATIONING BOOKS- food, meat, gas.

If true, shows our govt expects millions of tcds to be crashing the grocery stores in DEc!

Regarding your comment about martial law-
Don't think a total breakdown will be the only thing that will lead to that.

From the many well-written/researched, and insider (some may be hoaxes) articles, I believe it is reasonable to assume that the probability is that nationalizing the national guard and state of national emergency is now a given.

Re: your comment about troops taking rarebird's food reserves...Good God, man! Even tho EO's give them the legal ability to confiscate anyone's private property at gunpoint, have you contemplated the awesome logistics and mechanics of whatever contingent of troops going door-to-door thru metro areas, everywhere?

How many men, how many trucks, how many comm devices, how much gas, etc, etc, would it require for sweeping tens or hundreds of thousands of homes in any given metro area, of food, guns, gold, cash, or whatever???

Don't you think the available troops, those that didn't defect to stay at home guarding there own families, rather than tracking down rarebird, me, and those like us who put away some food, are instead going to be guarding and assisting with the utilities, transport, water, nuke, etc. systems, as well as patrolling the major areas?

Rarebird, don't be frightened by that rubbish---from gangs and looters, yes there is a basis for concern, but the guardsmen/police/naval reservists/foreign exchange troops/whichever, will be on more vital missions!

However, I still am concerned about confiscation of gold and guns by them, but perhaps they will go to addresses on their lists of purchasers, rather than general sweeps.
