Sherry,

I don't know if it is the largest or not, but they sure boast that it is.

You know, this whole money thing has me a bit perturbed. I saw an article where season ticket seat licenses are almost a done deal, just a question of when. The noted cost was $1,500 to $2,000 per seat payable over three years.

The rest of this may sound like blasphemny....and I love the Pack and am the holder of two seats that were willed to me by my Grandfather..... I would hate to lose them as he and I went to many games together and I would like to do the same with my kids.....but $4,000?

I am really questioning whether or not I will pony up those kind of funds for a bunch of overpaid athletes. When I look at my two kids, realize I don't have enough put away for college for them, don't have enough for my retirement, still have school loans, etc etc......

....why on earth should I assist with another $4,000. Heck two years ago I caughed up enought to buy four shares of stock....now they are after me again?

So I guess the real issue is do I get $4,000 worth of entertainment by going to a couple Packer games a year?

I think the overwhelming answer to that question is no. I can watch them on TV and just miss out on the Lambeau experience....is the Lambeau expereince worth $4,000? Hmmm.....not to minimize the incredible experience that it is.....I think not.

I don't know how this will play out in WI. Might be a tough sell, but with a season ticket waiting list of whatever huge number it is, maybe it won't be that big of a deal.

I have a fairly strong feeling that the season ticket waiting list will have two openings when Harlan puts this on the table. In the meantime, I continue to thank my grandfather for the past memories and those yet to come.
